The Dress

I felt absolutely stunning wearing this custom-made, two-layer gown on my wedding day in Aug 2020. Created by a much-loved Newcastle wedding dress designer, Kelly from Atelier Rose. She often referred to my gown as "her favorite one she made all year".

Originally created to give two looks in one dress, the first layer is an extremely comfortable form-fitting crepe gown with a front split. Beautiful worn on its own, which was my plan for my reception to have a "different look", however, I became too in love with both the layers worn together in the end.

The overlay is silk tulle covered with stunning half pearls heat bonded by hand. The overlay also features draping sleeves that open from the embellished shoulders. The overlay does up in the back with a series of pearl buttons.

The two layers are sewn together along the seams as I made the decision right before the big day that I couldn't dear take off the overlay for the reception - I loved it too much!

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in pristine condition. Not a single mark can be found on the dress and tulle overlay is perfectly intact - no holes or rips. I can also provide more pictures upon request.
