The Dress

This stunning dress is from the Spring 2013 collection by Oscar De La Renta, the last collection designed by him before he died in 2014. It is pure silk, size 44 (US size 8) and worn only once for my wedding in June 2013. The gown, as only haute couture can achieve, is a wonderful fit. The shapely style characteristically streamlines and lengthens the figure, and the bow accent adds beauty and flair.

It is a great sadness to have to part with it and I hope it finds its way to someone who will love it as much as I have. The dress has been washed but not ironed. Included with the dress is the long veil you see in the photos and the tulle shrug for the church ceremony. Being the last collection designed by Oscar De La Renta, the dress will become a cult piece and will only increase in value. I paid about ten thousand euros for it, but I am selling it for half the price. I hope it will bring the new owner as much happiness as it has me.
