The Dress

This is a custom made and designed ivory wedding dress made by Marilyn Crystelle Bridal. Marilyn made the dress of my dreams with my vision being an elegant, timeless and flattering design. I am relatively tall, so the dress sits perfectly at floor length with my request for a small but present train that will be able to be altered for a shorter height bride-to-be. This dress has 3 layers of fabric which allows for a flattering figure hugging design without being too tight and uncomfortable. The dress includes sheer, billowing sleeves with wrist cuffs, a low V back design with a hidden zip allowing easy and comfortable wear. The dress includes built in bra cups for added shape to the dress. Our wedding was held on a warm August day, but the sheer nature of the sleeves and light-weight nature of the dress' fabric meant that I was never too hot or cold on the day. My size sits between an 8-10 but I wanted a dress to feel comfortable and practical for movement on the day. The dress includes a hidden bustle to allow for the train to be raised for dancing or to carry the train on the day. One of my favourite features of the dress is the billowing sheer sleeves that are set with ivory cuffs and 4 ivory buttons. I hope this dress can find another beautiful bride-to-be to enjoy this dress and feel as special on their wedding day as I did!
