The Dress

The dress is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I fell in love with it the moment I laid eyes on it! It fit perfectly with the winter wedding I had in February 2020. It’s sparkly, elegant, and classic-looking.

I never thought I’d like a ballgown dress, but that changed the moment I slipped into it for the first time. The dress looks wonderful in photos, so I’m sure you’ll be glowing in those wedding pictures!

After the wedding, I sent the dress in to David’s Bridal’s cleaning service and had them clean it and box it up nicely. There may or may not be small tears in the under-layer lace (near where the bustle loops were underneath. No tears in visible areas), but nothing that’s not fixable at a small price.

Alterations

I had the sleeves attached for alterations. From what I’ve seen and what the seamstress told me, the sleeves can be easily removed if you prefer sleeveless.

Another alteration made was the bustle. There are buttons on the back of the dress (as you can see in one of the photos) if you want to be able to dance in the dress. There should be loops in the layers of the dress so you can hook them on to the buttons. If you prefer no bustle, you can remove the buttons.
