The Dress

I fell in love with this dress the moment I put it on. First it fit like a glove, my waist looked tiny, by boobs looked great, and I felt like a bride. Second, it is not stark white, we were eloping and who wants a traditional white dress when you are doing nothing by the book. Finally, the details were spot on, there are these little 3-D flowers all along the bottom of the dress and the scroll work at the waist is *kisses fingers*. I've tried to include the best pictures I have of it, but if you want more photos let me know and I'd be happy to take some on the hanger!

This dress was my "after" dress, so I didn't say my vows in it. We eloped in August of 2020 (thank you COVID) to a lake, jumped off the dock after saying "I do" and then I changed into this dress for dinner. I think in total I wore this dress for maybe 2 hours, 1.5 of which I was sitting at a table. I decided to keep my ceremony dress and sell this one as my husband has much less closet space with two wedding gowns taking up half of his side.

Now to the details, I had to have the straps shortened (seriously I'm not sure they would have fit a normal human person) and had it hemmed. I'm 5'4" but had it hemmed while wearing 5" heels. Other than that the size is the same as the day it was made, no other alterations made. It has also been professionally cleaned and is in perfect condition, no rips, tears, or stains.

I'm a little sad to see it go, but the thought of someone else wearing such a beautiful dress makes it all worth it. Wedding season is coming up and I am open to negotiations!
