The Dress

This dress was a dream come true! It was comfortable, flexible, well-fitted, and intricately beaded for a little extra sparkle! My husband LOVED it, as did the guests. I never ever thought I'd buy a fit-and-flare (because I'm short and didn't want to look stumpy or overwhelmed by all the fabric around the legs), but it was so beautiful and maneuverable on the day and it was altered perfectly for my height. - Worn once and professionally dry-cleaned after. No visible stains, snags, or tears.
- Came with built-in padded cups so you can go braless on the day.
- Illusion lace on the back; ivory liner covers the butt and extends down through the skirt.
- Skirt has a few layers, including an ivory liner, a layer of netting, and a beaded lace overlay.
- Comes in original garment bag from my dress vendor. Does NOT come with preservation box.
- Purchased for $1,998, with another $795 in alterations, for a total retail price of $2,793 not including tax.

Alterations

- Tailored for a 5'2" 95-pound gal who wears a street size 0 and a 34C bra.
- I wore 3" heels on the day, and the dress lightly brushed the floor on the front.
- 7-point American-style bustle with hidden hooks.
- Comes with scraps of liner and lace left over from the alterations, in case you want to make a matching garter, headband, or other accessories.
