Perfect for a Spring or Summer Wedding!

This vintage inspired fit-and flare dress in Antique Ivory features beaded lace appliques over tulle. The unique illusion back is accented in lace appliques with a cascade of keyholes, finished with covered buttons over a zipper closure.

The original dress featured an illusion bateau on a sweetheart neckline (you'll see this in the store image; both store images were taken prior to alteration). If you’re like me and aren’t a fan of this feature (but loved everything else about this dress), you’re in luck. It’s been removed already! My tailor did an incredible job making this work seamlessly as a strapped dress without any irritation (believe me; you'd see my sensitive skin turn red if it was bothering me).

Save the sweat dripping down my legs from the Arizona summer heat, this dress was perfect. Lighter than I expected, I stood and sat, walked and danced, bustled and un-bustled, and even survived being stuck in it for 40 minutes in the car when we realized we'd left our housekey with the best man at the reception...

There's also plenty of padding in the chest, although I used tape for extra support. You could be fine without it though.

I haven't taken it out of the bag since it was professionally dry-cleaned in 2019.

Alterations

Illusion Bateau was removed; bustled; brought in slightly around the shoulders, Hemmed slightly (I am ~5'6" and wore ~4" heels during the wedding and flat sandals during the reception. So, I wore the shoes at my natural and taller height and was fine in both situations).
