Vintage 2004 'Elena' Pronuptia dress with a skirt made to be more mermaid and less A line.
The first photo is from the brochure - photo 3 shows this on me, full length as the skirt is. The skirt was a size 10, the top a size 12, but the skirt was too tight and so I had it let out a little - however this cannot be seen once the top is on. The dress has been worn and stored, fully cleaned in a presentation box since 2004. The top has buttons down the back, the skirt is plain. It is somewhere between ivory and cream - and is silk with a texture to it - not a satin type, but a pure silk look. This is quite an unusual dress with the beautiful lace halter neck.
Alterations
The skirt was adjusted to make bigger by 2cm. This could be reversed if wanted easily, however the adjustment is not visible once the dress is on.
