The Dress

Gorgeous, elegant, and flattering.

A slightly blush bottom layering and the beaded ivory lace overlay paired with the intricate beaded creates the beautiful color combination. Added support into the cups prevented the need for a bra (after a baby and some major weight loss - needed - and I felt AMAZING about how I looked)

My "street size" was a 12 in jeans, and my particular best fitting brand of jeans is American eagle. My dress size was typically a 16-18, because of the aspects of sizing up for dresses. Intending on order a different size if I liked the dress, I found the 12 zipper perfectly, and only needed to be hemmed, the straps "tightened", support padding added, and a bustle added.

Alteration around waist took place shortly before wedding only because of a slight weight loss. Biggest alteration was the inserts and adjustments of straps to make sure there was support with no bra. I do not have those exact measurements, only the starting measurements, however, my waist was no smaller than 31" , the backless style just accommodated for that. My bust was also around 36-37" at the time, and hips, unknown, but no restrictions on width past the back closure because of laters, so no alterations were needed.

Alterations

Alterations included inserting bra cups into the dress, taken in around the waist and bust, straps were tightened and length was hemmed about 4 inches. Bustle added during alterations
