The Dress

Beautiful, flowing A-line gown with a plunging illusion neckline for a dreamy, romantic look.

Handmade, the bodice is covered with ivory lace flowers with intricate details that give a faint capped-sleeve effect. Being a DD-cup, the illusion neckline was ideal - it offered support and meant I wasn’t worried about anything “slipping out”. I wore nude coloured boob tape under the dress and nobody could have guessed.

I think the back of the dress was my favourite part, I fell in love with and chose this dress because of the buttons down the back. It’s a stunning and elegant detail.

The skirt is a beautiful, flowing chiffon. It is still in very good condition with no tears/discolouring.

I loved this dress because of its romantic look and understated elegance. It fit like a second skin (where it should), and I felt comfortable and beautiful for the entire day!

Alterations

Size wise, the dress has no alterations. The neck line has been filled in with lace appliqués (from the designer) to make it slightly less wide and provide more coverage. There are a few small floral appliqués around the bodice as well (to fill in bare areas). The dress has a bustle in the back. It was cut not to have a train, but to fall and flow behind you when you walk.

I have quite a bit of the appliqués remaining, and will send these with the dress so you use them to alter it to your liking. I’ll also provide the extra buttons that came with the dress.
