Bought as a UK Size 14 to fit hips then altered smaller to the waist and bust. I usually wear a UK size 10-12. Also had bra cups sewn into the front of the dress for added support but these could easily be removed.
Loved wearing this dress - very flattering and comfortable! Has been professionally dry cleaned (at a cost of over GBP80 - absolutely perfect on the body of the dress, no stains/marks and no hitches to the fabric, there is some very light discolouration at the hem of the dress (mainly on the inside and on the sides of the train fabric) from where the dress got slightly muddy on my wedding day but you only notice this on a closer inspection and it is not obvious when wearing the dress. If you needed the dress to be hemmed anyway, this would probably completely get rid of any marks.
Open to offers - I am soon leaving my job to travel so sadly cannot hang onto the dress.
