The Dress

I would say that this dress is more of an off-white rather than a clean bright white, which is nice as it gives a beautiful contrast with the outer-laying lace. There is also a built in petticoat or underskirt for volume. I Purchased it brand new at a boutique in Tampa, FL for $3,500 in 2016. I have and will include a matching cathedral veil which was purchased for another $130.

Alterations

I had the dress worked on by a professional seamstress. She took it in on both sides, as well as shortened the length at the bottom. She added an "invisible" tie system to the under layer as well to have the option to bundle the underneath of the dress for more maneuverability. Padded cups were also added for a push up effect, but can be easily removed. Also, The back of the dress is backless so bust measurements have quite a bit of room to expand if needed. I was 5'4,113 lbs., and a 32B cup when I wore this dress. My heels were 5" with a 1" platform. Dress was only worn once, for about 5 hours. Then professionally dry cleaned and boxed. Unfortunately, I do not have the box as it was damaged in my last move. Since then it has been in my closet for the last year in a garment/dress bag. You may decide to have it dry-cleaned again, but I do live in a smoke-free, and animal free home. So it is up to you.
