The Dress

I bought this Pronovias Olwin dress in 2020 from Raffaele Ciuca in Brunswick. The style is beautifully classic with a sweetheart neckline, and was a breeze to wear on the day with it not feeling heavy at all! There is an easy to do bustle feature added to the dress, which connects to the buttons lining the back, making dancing and transit between locations easy to manage.

There is stunning button detailing down the back of the dress, with a hidden zip for ease, and beautiful seamwork means a very elegant figure. I found the colour is closer to white than off white, and the material is a mikado.

This stunning dress was worn for approximately 6 hours in a daytime wedding, and professionally dry cleaned with it being completely ready to wear.

I sized up to size 14 for the bust (12E bust usually in a Berlei bra for reference), equating to a Size 12 (Australian). Minor alterations have been made by a dressmaker in Adelaide to the hem for shoe height and also a slight taking in of the side seams at the waist to ensure the waist looks cinched in.

Hemming of bottom hem for shoe use, and taking in of side seams to fit waist. Addition of a bustle loop on a lower button.
