The Dress

Classic, feminine, figure hugging and fabulous! This dress has a Fit and Flare silhouette with a sweetheart neckline. The gown has exposed corseting, with detailed lace motifs and a tulle skirt. The skirt has an in-built petticoat with a beautiful long train. It is versatile as the dress has detachable straps and can easily be taken on or off. The train can also be attached with a bustle or let down easily (please see pictures) This dress was purchased at Fairytales Bridal Boutique (426 Whitehorse Rd, Nunawading VIC 3131, Australia)

This dress is in impeccable condition, the weather was perfect on the day of wear and was worn for only 5 hours. It was dried cleaned immediately after use at Syndal’s Bridal Dry Cleaners in Dec 2020- certificate can be provided (244 Blackburn Rd, Glen Waverley VIC 3150, Australia) and has been stored in a smoke free pet free home.

It is a long dress for a short bride. I am 156cm and wore 4cm heels with it. I would love to see another bride enjoy this gown as much as I have!

Alterations

I am normally a size AU 8 (US-4, UK-8), but have made amendments. Originally the dress was a size AU 14 (US-10, UK-14) dress. As this is a corset dress it was not too difficult to do, it was taken in a little but the bust and waist can still be slightly tightened or made looser as desired. This dress will now fit a size 8-10 easily.

I have also added detachable double straps, which can be easily removed. I have added lace to the neckline. The train can also be pinned using a bustle and loop for ease of walking around.
