The Dress

I wore this GORGEOUS Tara Lauren dress for my intimate elopement in November 2020. We decided to postpone our reception until 2022 and seeing as I only wore my dress for less than 4 hours, I would love to see another bride give it another life. We rented a very neat studio loft, where we exchanged our vows, enjoyed some bubbly and took some fun photos. The dress was not worn outside, just from the building straight into our Uber.

Dress Updates from designer:
1. I added a right side 17" slit from waistline
2. Lace in general can be heavy, so I removed the tulle layer (*trust me, you'll thank me)

Alterations

My seamstress added a two system bustle at the back to take pressure off of the lace. Dress will come with bustle attached, to make it easy for the new bride.
Length was adjusted from the bottom train and waist was taken in further. We also added in bridal bra pads ( for reference I am 34B in bras).
Lastly, my seamstress sewed on a beautiful vintage looking belt right onto the dress. I didn't want to deal with tassels. This belt can easily be removed but it really gives this Tara Lauren dress that extra wow factor.
