The Dress
This dress is beautiful and romantic. I fell in love with this dress the minute that I put it on. The dress is well made with chiffon and lace. Although the dress is considered Ivory, I would say that it's a very soft white. Satin buttons run all the way down the back and train. (Although there is a zipper under the buttons). The dress has a three layers of material which makes a slip unneccesary. It also has a corset bodice which holds everything in place on top. My tailor sewed in a bra insert in lieu of a strapless bra but that can be removed. The sleeve part has elastic under the lace to allow the bride to move her arms, especially when dancing with someone taller! This is a gorgeous dress!
Alterations
This dress was shortened to fit a 5' 4" woman wearing 2 inch heels. The train was not altered at all but bustling hooks and buttons have been sewn in to bustle the dress after the ceremony.
