The Dress

Luna Bea's 'La Lune' dress is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Made in the UK with the finest chemical free, ethical silk, it floats effortlessly and falls with the most amazing drape.

The dress was absolutely perfect for my intimate wedding. There is a lot of fabric which meant it could be dramatic and showstopping when it needed to be but, because the silk is so light, I could easily hold the fabric out of the way to climb over rocks, walk across sand and not be left out of the wedding fun! I was so in love with this dress that I couldn't bear to go through with my planned outfit change and just tied it up to the side instead!

I did not have this dress altered but there is a small silk-covered button on the waste that is designed to be adjusted depending on the bride's waist measurements to ensure the dress is secure. I am a standard Australian 10, 170cm tall (I wore 8cm heels) and have a D cup bust. I used a small amount of double sided tape on the shoulders to ensure the dress was secure, and I didn't need to think about adjusting it all day.
