The Dress

Sarah Seven "Breakfast for Dinner" gown, a discontinued style. Ivory/white crepe material with delicate lace trim. This is a beautiful, elegant, minimalist wedding gown that has never been worn but was purchased as a sample.

The only alterations made on this dress were on the length. It was shortened according to my height (5'6") PLUS a 3 inch heel. As you can see in photos, in which I am wearing a 3 inch heel, there is still room to shorten if needed. A small train was left on the back.

I was told by my seamstress that further alterations to length, seams, and bodice would be simple. I have also seen people remove the cap sleeves for a sleeveless look, which would also be quite simple. Cups have not been added, but could be for a more fitted look in the front.

The overall condition of this dress is great especially considering it was a sample. There is very minimal wear to the lace, only noted in the armpits, but is quite unnoticeable when worn. Again would not be an issue should you remove the sleeves. Happy to provide more information or photos upon request.
