The Dress
Essense of Australia Style D2810. As a 2020 bride, I had to postpone my wedding after already choosing this dress and getting it altered. When we had to postpone our wedding to a different season I made the decision to get a new dress to better fit our new season (and just to get excited about wedding planning... again!). The dress is WHITE with the color JAVA Tulle. The dress is a Mikado Bodice with a multi layer Tulle skirt with large-scale floral patterns. This dress has never been worn to a wedding and only tried on in the bridal shop and once more at our house to take these photos. The measurements posted were my measurements at the time of alteration. (I have since gained a little bit of weight, hence why I did not zip it up for these photos lol!)
Alterations
This dress was altered to fit me (I am 5'3 and was wearing 2 in heels). When we did the alterations we removed some of the crinoline to make it a little less poofy at the bottom, but if you decided you wanted it poofier my bridal boutique said that is an easy fix for your tailor (or they even have petticoat slips on Amazon).
