The Dress

The second I tried this dress on - I knew it was "the dress!" This dress is also completely brand new - it still has the tags! My wedding was canceled due to the pandemic, and my engagement also took off with 2020 (hence no professional pictures) - so this dress needs a new home! It has only been worn once (when I briefly tried it on and picked it up at the dress shop) and has 0 alterations.

I never thought a fit-and-flare would be the style for me, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The fit of the dress was extremely flattering to my curves around my hips and also lengthened my torso while lifting my chest. I am short and curvy - and this dress perfectly complimented my body type. The low back is joined by a beautiful sheer lace waistband and is incredibly slimming.

I absolutely loved the scallop train. In the images, I have it hung above floor height, but when worn, the train begins near the front of the dress and scallops all the way around to make a beautiful shape. There you can see the dress working amazingly on many different body types!

The color of the dress (this is the Ivory Gown with Porcelain Tulle Illusion version) is so beautifully unique. I didn't want a stark white gown for my wedding, and this was a beautiful harmony of something a little more elegant and off-white. The sparkles are not overwhelming and really are beautiful whenever you catch the light. They are subtle yet powerful! Overall, this is a very unique gown between the color, materials, and delicate lace patterns.
