The Dress

Lottie by Karen Willis Holmes is a sequined, fit and flare gown with intricately beaded bodice detailing that was part of the LUXE collection. The dress has a sweetheart neckline, panelled beaded bodice and sequin bias skirt to create a glamorous and elegant wedding gown. The timeless design had the 'WOW' factor that I was looking for with sequins that sparkled both day and night.

The dress was super comfortable to wear all day and designed to cling and hug your body in all the right places with stretch material that will compliment any figure. The dress definitely has some give in case your measurements are not quite the same as mine.

This dress is in excellent condition with no visible damage. I wore the dress for the ceremony and for an intimate dinner reception. No dancing (because of Covid-19), so still in as new condition.

Alterations

- Length of dress was shortened to my height. I am 159cm and was wearing 9cm heels.
- Had a second spaghetti strap added to the dress. This created a slightly thicker strap look for the front of the dress and a bespoke feature for the back of the dress with the straps separated to draw focus to the lowered 'v' back(see photos)
- Back was lowered to a slight 'v' shape with eye and hook closure
- Bustle and wrist loop added
- Built in cups added to provide support (can be removed)
