Our jaws dropped when we saw this gown at market week in NYC. We had to have it!!! The delicate lace top has a bell sleeve that can be gathered with a small ribbon tie for a puff sleeve / cuffed look. The front of the bodice is lined, but the back is sheer which allows for the intricate lace pattern to be highlighted. It is closed with dozens of the most beautiful pearl buttons and loops. The skirt is yards and yards and yards of gorgeous mesh tulle. The skirt is full, yet lightweight because of the fabric choice here. There is also an additional lace overskirt that can be worn over the skirt to provide the same lace detailing at the front of the gown, but is tied at the waist with a ribbon so it can be removed. (It is not shown in the photos, but will be shipped with the gown as an optional topper if you choose to use it.) The designer of this gown is known for their hand embroidery and beautiful lace work. This gown was handmade in Budapest, Hungary and is truly a work of art.
