The Dress

This San Patrick wedding dress is made with Royal Mikado. Mikado fabrics are a luxurious type of silk that have a heavier weight, and therefore gives great structure to a dress. As silk, Mikado fabrics give a subtle sparkle and glow as light hits it.

The regal A-line silhouette of this designer gown never goes out of style. The sweetheart bodice is decorated with delicate appliqued lace embellished with beads, pearls and sequins.

A narrow belt at the waist tops a full skirt with two layers of tulle underneath to give it fullness. The dress has an amazing chapel length train.

This considerately made dress comes with hidden side pockets and a French style bustle. Alternatively you can use the loop to wrist method.

I am 163cm tall. The dress fit me very well. I had a lot of freedom to move and loved the flow of the dress. I used the wrist loop most of the time to move about. I bought this from Fashions By Farina at the Dymocks Building in Sydney. Original receipt is still available.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and has been stored in the box. There are two small marks on the tulle underneath. I am happy to provide more measurements if needed.

Alterations

I had some minor alterations done to the dress. Added an extra piece of lace to cover cleavage area. The bust was adjusted so they were not pointy! (so important). All alterations were done by Fashions By Farina.
