The Dress

This dress is brand new and has never even been tried on. I bought the dress in March 2020 but I bought it under a clod as my Grandad was sick and passed away in April 2020. I didn't really want to go dress shopping but I felt that I had to as my Wedding was supposed to be on the 7th November 2020 and people were telling me that I was running out of time as they had to be ordered 6 months in advance. I went shopping and went to 3 different shops and this was the only dress that made me smile as I felt comfortable in it, so I bought it. A couple of weeks later I was having doubts and the more I looked at the pics the more I disliked me in the dress. By the time my dress arrived at the shop we had postponed the wedding due to COVID 19 so I didn't see a point in going for a fitting until closer to the Wedding. A couple of months later we had to postpone again and the longer I have had to look at the dress the more I know it's not my dress. I went back to the shop and tried the shop one on again but I just don't feel anything in it. It's a beautiful dress but I wasn't in the right state of mind and shouldn't have rushed into it.

The dress has never been tried on or altered since it was ordered for me so in that sense it literally is Brand New. It is a gorgeous dress in real life and I really hope it can be someone else's dream dress even though it's not mine.
