The Dress

Art Couture 'AC806' is beautiful Boho style dress in Ivory.This brand new untouched A-line gown features an all over, linear lace for a sweet, boho look. The linear lace has been used to create a v neckline and waist band that's perfect for giving you a nipped in waist as it falls from the smallest part of your figure. I felt fantastic in it and it did wonders for my bust and waist and hid my bottom lol ! I'd originally searched for a tulle type dress but found they were not flattering on me. This one suited our Tipi countryside wedding perfectly and gave me the great shape I craved for being a bigger girl.

It is brand new and completely unaltered ( ordered November 2019 from Art Couture & Eternity Bridal UK). In fact it was tried on once as you can see by the photo's when I collected in March from "Eve at the Bridge boutique", Chepstow and it's been hanging in my spare room since ( we were supposed to be married in June 2020 but covid got in the way of that- hence the plastic gloves i'm wearing in the photo's !). I'm selling as our venue has now changed due to the covid 19 pandemic and the dress no longer suits our future venue and plans sadly ( fingers crossed we'll get to wed in june 2021 instead !).

I had planned to alter the dress a bit so it's got two options really... the lovely original netted A Line shape you see from the stock photo's. Or you can do as I was going to do and remove most of the netting to give a softer, lighter to wear more boho look to the skirt ( in my photo's the net is tucked behind me so shape in real life is slightly fuller).

I was also going to use some of the material that would have been taken off the bottom of the skirt to make little flutter or cap sleeves ( I wanted to cover the tops of my arms a bit, I was able to do this as length would have had to been altered for me as i'm only 5ft 2inches tall giving me extra fabric to play with). I was also going to use some of this spare fabric on my step daughters flower girl dress as a waist band to match us together.

My waist in the photos is 38 inches ( size 18 purchased) but it was a inch too big so there's a good few options for sizing... it could fit a size 20 girl easily or a size 16 if you take it in. Because it's the same cotton type lace all over it's quite easy for a good seamstress to do alternations as they not having to deal with tulle or lace appliques etc .

I have the sales receipt and if you require any more information please do ask, I am open to offers, this dress is brand new and untouched. International delivery is possible. I will weigh the dress and update postage costs ( probably around £50 UK insured courier service). I may be able to offer delivery within 60 miles of Abergavenny for a small fee of £10 to cover fuel costs once covid restrictions allow us to travel.
