The Dress
Stunningly simple, minimalist, elegant, timeless. Hugs your curves in all the right places and highlights shoulders and collarbone as well while being classy and tasteful, not overtly sexy. Off the shoulder straps can be removed for dancing or for a reception look. Has the look of buttoning up all down the back, but is actually a zip. The buttons are beautiful and flattering. The long train was one of my favorite parts of the gown as well and added a touch of drama while still being very romantic and feminine. Got so many compliments about how flattering and timeless the dress was.
Alterations
I lost a little over 20 pounds between the purchase of the dress and when it arrived. The dress needed to be taken in throughout as a result. There were no alterations made to the length of the dress as I am 6 feet tall, so there is still plenty of room to take up to your desired length/height. Also altered to include a bustle so that the train can be pinned up while dancing and after the ceremony, but the bustle is not visible.
