The Dress
This dress new, never worn, not even for pictures. These pictures are of the sample dress (which was in great condition as well), and the belt is not part of the dress. The actual dress is a size 2 (tag pictured), and no alterations have been made to it. It has stayed in it’s garment bag since purchase.
This dress is everything you love about Carol Hannah: luxurious, draped, cascading, organza ball gown skirt beneath a fitted bodice with exposed boning. The v-neck and boning of the bodice makes your waist look tiny above the full skirt. The skirt is described by the Carol Hannah website as a “ball gown”, but it’s not as full as some of the ballgowns out there, which is why I like it so much. The organza flows so beautifully as you walk, turn, spin, and twirl. It’s light, considering how much fabric there is to the skirt. I know the clips hide the back a bit, but it is a simple V-back, just like the front.
This is such a beautiful, elegant, and classy dress.
