The Dress

Stunning designer couture gown from White One by Pronovias, made in Barcelona, Spain. Purchased for a cosy Winter Solstice wedding where the dress code was "Glam" (for the bride too!). Originally paired with a fur stole and diamante/lace belt, the dress is incontestably timeless.

Crafted in a beautiful off white satin, the dress looks flattering in both daylight and indoors. Made in a US Size 8, &Aus Size 10, the dress has been altered slightly. I usually alternate between a S-M, and 8-10 in most Australia sizes and am 164cm tall, DD cup size.

The silhouette is a figure hugging mermaid/fit-n-flare, with a slight A-line, and asymmetrical rouching throughout length of gown. The dresses top satin covered button was removed to sew in an antique blue silk button, which has since been removed (heirloom) but I can provide the original to be sewn back in. The dress is in good condition, but dry cleaning to clean the darker marks on the underside of the trail. I can provide photos if need be. It was purchased from Farina Bridal in Sydneys historic Dymocks building for $2,549.
