The Dress
This dress was absolutely a show stopper. It was nothing like what I pictured myself in, but the moment I tried it on I never wanted to take it off! It has so much detail and intricacies, the beauty just went on and on. From the Swarovski crystal buttons down the back to horsehair edging and deep plunge V-neck (there is a sheer piece in the V). One thing to note - this dress is heavy. There are layers upon layers of tooling and the top is hand-made lace so it is not light weight. The straps are quite durable, however, so the weight feels evenly distributed. I am sad to let this go, however, it is just laying in a box collecting dust and I would love to see someone else enjoy it the way I did.
Alterations
I lost a fair amount of weight before my wedding and did have the dress tailored to my measurements. My current measurements are almost exactly what they were when the dress was tailored.
