The Dress

The Gabrielle is an easy, breezy dream to wear on your wedding day. The organza is so fun to twirl in. Ivory silk deep V-neck gown with an open back and fully boned bodice with spaghetti straps. Fully lined in silk.

This has never been worn, only tried on for alterations! The skirt is completely untouched and brand new with original hemline. Comes with Leanne Marshall garment bag. Never hung on its straps except for these photos.

This is a size 6 top and a size 4 skirt (it's a size 6 but the waist is slightly smaller). The top was produced in December 2016, the skirt hot off the press in February 2020. I'm a street size 2; the top (32DD chest) and waist is loose on me.

Octavia overskirt (hemmed) and cape not included but are also for sale.

Alterations

Alterations to top only. I asked my seamstress to not remove anything so all alterations are reversible.
- bring in bust (alteration done inside)
- bring in and then release side of top
- move straps in toward middle of back. We did shorten the straps when they were farther out, and then lengthen when we brought them in, so there are visible marks (see photos). In case it ends up showing for you: my seamstress said new straps are an easy and cheap alteration.
- move hanger strap from skirt to top
- remove the hook and eye from top (didn't like it occasionally being visible)
- add fabric loops to back of straps for attaching cape
