The Dress
This dress was worn once and kept in a wedding dress bag in a smoke free home. Dress has a corset back closure which makes it a win for all sizes and curves. It is very comfortable to wear and you do not have to constantly tug on it to keep it in place - it stays put. The slight curve of the neckline is very flattering.
I made NO alterations - except to add the hooks for the train. The train was the perfect length - just enough to have one when walking down the aisle. Just a few fasteners and it was bundled up.
Since I am thicker than I want to be, I was very self conscious... however, once I had it on and the compliments started, I felt like a queen!
This dress would be great in both elegant and informal environments, indoors or outdoors. I had a mixture of all of these elements and it was perfect. I was comfortable dancing, sitting, and standing!
I am including the tulle skirt that I wore under it.
