The Dress

Let me tell you the love story of this dress!

Before I was even engaged I screen shot these pics of this stunning bride wearing this dreamy dress and knew it was the one. 3years later, with a ring on my finger I flicked through my saved photos to find the dress. It took me ages to find out the designer and eventually the name, a Hayley Paige Cleo dress.

I soon realised there were no stores in Australia and after emailing Hayley herself I was sent a list of 150 stockists in the US. I then scrolled through the list of stalls and stopped at the very bottom feeling very deflated at “Willow Bridal Boutique” and quickly sent them off an email pleading my case. Within minutes they wrote back saying they were closing down that week and they had 5 dresses left in stock of which one was my Hayley Paige Cleo used as a sample. It was fate! I paid a huge amount to get it shipped to Australia and then got hit with income tax but it was worth it.

Unfortunately my wedding was cancelled and I couldn’t bear to use this dress on the red pindan cliffs of the Kimberley for our elopement as it would not be worth ruining. So I am passing on this love story for you to finish...and cherish and love!
It is the most beautiful dress made of silk crepe and is stunning!!!!! It is so unusual and glistens under lights. My idea was to frame the top of the dress after the wedding as it really is a piece of art.

The normal blurb for the dress is:
Ivory silk crepe A-line gown, Moroccan beaded illusion detail with deep sweetheart neckline and low, net covered back with center beaded detail, full crepe skirt with pockets...yes POCKETS! What a win on a wedding day! I would say it would fit an 10- 12.
