The Dress

Brand new, never worn low back/backless ivory dress by ABS by Allen Schwartz. Shimmery luxe satin material, ruffled chiffon cups, beautiful 1" wide beaded straps for a touch of sparkle, ruching and cascading ruffle detail on back.

I bought this in college on a whim as a "maybe someday" wedding dress but ended up deciding I wanted something different when the time came. I love the simplicity of it and the lightweight fabric. This dress would be ideal for a backyard or courthouse wedding, elopement, beach wedding, or any bridal event.

This dress has been in my closet for a while, but is like new, except for a minor defect on one of the straps where the fabric backing is separating from the beaded part of the strap (see photo). This doesn't impact the integrity of the dress at all and should be an easy fix that can be done as part of your alterations.

This dress is new and unaltered, but the tags have been removed.

Measurements in the listing are my measurements when I last tried on the dress, plus heels. Photos show the dress on a dress form with the following measurements: 36" bust, 25" waist, and 36" hips. The open back provides a bit of flexibility with sizing and I'd say this could work for a size 4-8 as is, depending on body type. Alterations would give you even more flexibility!
