The Dress

I pinned this incredible dress 4 years ago on my Pinterest Board (before my engagement) as a manifestation for my future dream dress! And it ended up being the first dress that I tried on, and the one that I couldn't leave without. It was definitely a little over budget (okay.. a lot over budget), but I couldn't stop thinking about it. And to be honest, I'm having such a hard time parting with it now - but also am excited for it to be hanging in someone else's closet, waiting for their special day. It's a bittersweet feeling. Due to all of the uncertainty in the world right now, we ended up having a beautifully intimate elopement in Tofino, and this was the PERFECT dress for our beach ceremony. Yes, it did get a little sandy, but as soon as we got back to the hotel, we just used water on it, and it looks great again. The material looks very delicate, but it is so durable. It has been hemmed (with all of the jewels individually sewn back on the hem). It was the perfect length for me at the front, being 5'4 (with a 1 1/2 inch heel on), however I was in bare feet the entire time and it still worked perfectly. I wanted the train length kept the same, so it flows beautifully at the back. I wore a bodysuit underneath, but Chosen also sells slip dresses to wear underneath. The sizing that I ordered was an AU 3. My bust size measured a 2 and hips measured a 3, but it all worked out wonderfully. I hope that you love this dress as much as I do.
