The Dress

The under dress is a gorgeous sparkly/sequined champagne color with a fitted floor-length skirt (as you can see in the first photo, there’s a little bit of bunching at the thighs because I gained weight in quarantine, but the measurements listed are accurate for the dress). The over skirt is a-line ivory tulle with handcrafted ivory lace flower appliqué and the train is to die for (see the last photo for a close-up of one of the flowers and the sparkly underskirt). The fitted underskirt makes a subtle sparkle when you walk and it clings to your body to show off the gorgeous train.

It's a combination of two Martina Liana dresses, the bottom half from stock # 1137 and the top from stock # 1105, so it's a one-of-a-kind dress!

This was my dream dress for our dream wedding in March 2020 that was cancelled 5 days before due to covid shut-downs :'( there are no tears, stains, or wear on the dress at all. The only time it was on a body was during fittings and the photos seen here. It’s being stored in a dry climate (no mildew) and is in a fully sealed garment bag. The colored safety pins are to indicate where the bustles are located and have not caused any damage to the dress.

I'm selling it because we decided to do a courthouse ceremony instead, and this dress would have been too much.

Alterations

The dress includes 5 (removable) bustles, the straps were shortened a little, and about an inch was taken from the inner skirt. It was altered for a 5’4” one-hundred-thirty pound, pear-shaped woman wearing flats.
