The Dress
This is a sample dress, but it has never been worn outside the store/my house. It still has the plastic liner along the hem and the boutique tags.
Dress is light platinum. It is a UK 10, and a US 6. Unfortunately, I had to push my wedding back and outgrew the dress. Comes with the cape shown in the photos above. Cape is from Bhldn and was originally $250. It has lovely gold accents along the top that disperse as it moves down.
It is a dress out of the 1920s. It is shiny platinum silk. It has a gorgeous low back with sequin lining detail along the inside of the silk. It has lovely geometric sewn detailing around the hips that give it a wonderful Art Deco feeling. The dress has a little bit of stretch, which is nice. And it is lightweight and super easy to get on and off by yourself.
It is pretty long, and even in heels (I'm 5'4") I would have needed a few inches taken off. The woman in the pics is 5'9". But it's only one layer of fabric, so it should be pretty easy for a tailor to do.
