The Dress
The Stella York style 6758 is an amazing ballgown that is extremely flattering on all body shapes. The smooth mikado fabric feels great and gives just the right amount of structure. I loved the dress but went a different route due to change of plans. It has not been worn except for alterations. Alterations included: taking in the top, bringing the V back in a bit (see photo), cups for support, hemming to fit a 5'9" bride in flats and a French bustle was added.
Designer's Description
Made of matte Mikado fabric, the ballgown silhouette features a modern empire waist and open, square back. A small pleat in the skirt allows the ballgown skirt to keep its shape beautifully. Fabric covered buttons run down the length of the train and pockets have been added for one final modern touch.
Alterations
The dress has been altered to take in the top, bring the V back in a bit (see photo), added cups for support, hemming to fit a 5'9" bride in flats and a French bustle was added.
