The Dress

I fell in love with my dress when I saw it, it was everything I had been looking for and it instantly made me feel like a bride which is why I have included the photo of me trying it on for the first time in Morgan Davies, London. I loved all the little details, the crochet lace, the little pearls, the satin waist band and buttons down the back, all of it.

I have the best memories when looking at it even now and it makes me feel much more sentimental that I ever could have anticipated which is why it's taken me a little longer to post it on here but I would love to know it could be another bride's perfect dress and continue it's story.

It was custom made but I'm always a size 8 and my measurements did not fluctuate in the run up to my wedding day, it fit me perfectly including my bust which was well supported and I didn't wear a bra (34D).

There are tiny tears in the bottom because I danced all night in it so mobility is very good and unfortunately after dry cleaning the top layer (only) of the skirt is discoloured but it could be removed / altered. Happy to send a video or a video call.

Alterations

Added delicate spaghetti straps that could be worn or tucked in to the sides - helped me feel less self conscious to have the option and liked how they framed my back for photos
