The Dress

Halfpenny London Berry french lace jacket/top. I bought this top along with a Halfpenny Thea slip dress at a sample sale at their shop in Bloomsbury, London in Sept 2020. The dress and top are absolutely gorgeous however I ended up changing my mind to another dress for my own wedding. I am selling the dress separately. The top is a really delicate french lace and gives a sort of "barely there" look. I liked the idea of being able to wear the dress and top together and then maybe taking the top off for the evening to give two slightly different looks. The top is a Halfpenny size 2 which is equivalent to a UK size 10. I am usually a 12 on top and actually although the top fit me I think it would look better on someone that is a size 10. The back of the top is really lovely, fastening only at the top with a hook and eye and the rest being open. The satin finish on the neckline is marked a bit with foundation on the inside only from where people tried it on in the shop - I didn't even notice it until I got home and I think it would easily come out with a specialist dry clean or as it's only on the inside you could wear it as it is and no-one would notice.
I am selling it for exactly the price I paid for it at the sample sale, given that it was already heavily discounted and I haven't worn it. I am happy to provide measurements of the top on request. Collection in person from Kent or I will arrange shipping.
