The Dress

Halfpenny London Thea slip dress bought at a sample sale in Sept 2020. I absolutely love the dress but ended up finding a different one for my own wedding, so this has never been worn other than as a sample in the shop. The ladies at Halfpenny commented how good a sample it is - it looks like it has not been tried on very much. The fabric is gorgeous and just flows like water. I am a size 14 on the bottom and 12 on the top, however this dress is a Halfpenny size 5 which is equivalent to a UK size 16. I had planned to get it altered to fit me. The dress has not had any alterations - in the photos of me wearing it my mum is standing behind me holding it in to give an idea of how it will look when properly fitted although it doesn't quite show how the back will actually look. There is one mark on the bottom of the dress, I think it is a scuff mark from a shoe which should come out very easily.
I bought it with the Halfpenny London Berry french lace top (size 10) which I am selling separately. I liked the idea of being able to wear it with the lace top and then perhaps take the top off for the evening to essentially give me two different looks.
I am selling it for exactly the price I paid for it at the sample sale which was of course already discounted from the retail price. I am happy to provide dress measurements on request. Collection in person from Kent or I will arrange shipping.
