The Dress

This dress is stunning. The attention to detail and intricate lace make it really stand out.

I bought this for my wedding which was planned for August 2020, but could not go ahead due to COVID restrictions. We’ve now rescheduled the wedding for 2022, which by then I’m hoping to be pregnant so this dress isn’t going to work for me anymore sadly.

I am a size 10 but with the flexibility of adjusting the back, bust and straps, it could easily fit a different size. It’s got pockets which you can’t see when wearing it normally but will come in handy for those tissues when emotions get high! The length hasn’t been altered, and it’s the perfect length for me (I’m 5’8” and wearing 4” heels).

There are a couple of loose threads on the beading, (I think from me just trying it on a few times) which I wasn’t planning on doing anything with as you can’t tell when the dress is being worn. There is a tiny mark on the back just to the right of the zip (pictured) which I think might be fake tan, but I didn’t attempt to remove it and again wasn’t planning on trying to as it can’t be seen when the dress is worn. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, but these imperfections are so tiny I would have been happy to wear it exactly as it was. I don’t think they’re noticeable when worn at all but I wanted to make sure I was as transparent as possible with this listing, as a wedding dress is the most special dress ever.

The skirt is very full and it keeps it’s shape when walking, almost making you look like you’re floating! I fell in love with this dress and I really hope someone else does too, as it deserves to be worn.

Alterations

Added bust cups (which could be removed again) and a double bustle (one on the outside train and one on the underneath train so dancing in this dress will be much easier). The bottom fastening section has got two tiny cotton “eyes” for the hooks to fit in, as I lost a bit of weight just before I went to pick it up. These could be used if you need to, or cut off from inside and you wouldn’t know they had been there.
