This dress is a perfect mix of chic, classical elegance with some slightly quirky elements; the super-flattering cummerbund waist, the deep V, the pockets! It’s simplicity also makes it a blank canvas to stamp your own personality on, especially if you really want to showcase your hair or flowers. Or a killer pair of shoes....
Very similar in style to the Oleg Cassini Amanda, Stella York 6858 and Sassi Holford’s Verity. I loved how flattering it was for someone like me with a flatter chest. No gaping or alterations needed. That said, the style looks fab for the lucky ladies with cleavage. It comes with a removable sparkly modesty panel if the V feels too showy for you - see pics- and the style of the dress is very amenable to modifications too. Have a Google to see what some other brides have done with panels and belts.

This cut of this dress means it’s only the cummerbund bit where the measurement really matters and the fit assistant in-store said that most brides only get the length altered for their shoe choice, maybe some bustling if that’s your thing.

Like too many brides, Covid wrecked our 2020 wedding plans and we’ve since totally rethought our wedding style, hence the sale: brand new, unworn, with tags still attached.
