The Dress

This dress was made by a couture designer Suzanne Hanley out of Atelier Des Modistes in San Francisco, CA. See designers website here: https://atelierdesmodistes.com/

It is modeled after the Lihi Hod 'Brooklyn' dress. Like Lihi Hod's 'Brooklyn' dress it is a crepe strapless dress with sweetheart neckline, with a lace back and a silk georgette ribbon ties at the back of the waist creating a bow. The skirt is fitted A line style with a train.

The only difference from the Lihi Hod 'Brooklyn' design is that I wanted the lace in back to extend all the way down instead of the exposed lower back. Also, the materials are higher quality - Atelier Des Modistes sources all of her fabrics from Italy and France, and so this dress is crafted of luxe 100% Italian silk crepe from Italy and French lace.

The gown was made to my measurements - I am 5ft2 (but wore 3 inch high heels). There is still wiggle room with the measurements given the internal corset structure in the bodice (pictured), which allows you to adjust to fit to your size and provides amazing support!

Includes spaghetti straps for dancing (I tucked them in since I found the dress had amazing support even without them and it didn't slip around - however, great to have as an option!), a finger loop, and the ability to bustle it up for the reception.

Worn once and remains in great condition. It has been dry cleaned to a very high standard and comes in the original dress bag.
