The Dress
This beautiful Jenny Packham dress was bought in London at Jenny Packham’s bridal boutique in 2010 for my wedding in April 2011. I love the drop / bare back of the dress and the way it floated across the floor with a beautiful full skirt. It is incredibly flattering and simple in its design with just enough glamour coming from the crystal band at the waist. The dress was bought for £2,500 (have receipts) which is equivalent to $AUD 4,400. The dress is easy to wear and could be altered to fit other sizes given the way it hangs off the shoulders and waist.
Alterations
I had the dress altered in Brisbane which made it smaller than its tag size (12). I had it taken in at the waste and under the arms to fit the measurements above. The dress is long and the full skirt floats across the floor. The length would only need to be altered for someone under 155cm height I think. Given the style there is plenty of room for bigger hip or bust measurements.
