The Dress

A slim, fitted wedding gown with a simple crepe base and beautiful lace appliques scattered throughout. An embellished V neck frames the semi-transparent bodice and leads into an illusion style back. Small fabric buttons fasten the back of the dress and complete the design.

As you can see from the images shown, the dress has been lovingly worn on my own wedding day. It is wonderfully lightweight, perfect for spring/summer/autumn wedding, and felt incredibly comfortable to wear.

It was purchased as a size 12, and then taken in to fit my shape closer to the date - probably closer to a standard size 10. The length has not been altered, so fitted me at 5ft11 with a small one-inch heel. There are cups sewn into the lace already, as I opted not to wear the bodice underneath. However, these are only held with tac stitches, so can be easily removed should you wish. The dress will come with the original, nude bodice which remains unworn.

The dress has been dry cleaned. There are a couple of slight markings and very tiny holes in the fabric. This is all at the very bottom of the dress within the train, which I do not believe would be seen once on - it might be possible to get these last couple of marks out with further treatment, or indeed if you would need the dress length taken up, this fabric might even be removed altogether.
