The Dress
I got married in the UK in 2013, but this dress was designed and custom-made by Rico-A-Mona, who are the leading bridal boutique in Singapore (where we spent a lot of our time). I wanted something vintage-inspired, flowing and flattering. The chapel-length train flows beautifully behind you as you walk, and pins up to the bottom of the buttons on the back for the post-ceremony celebrations. It's a perfect size 10 fit, but with a little bit of extra room in the bust. I am 5ft 6in, but wore a three inch heel and the dress just skimmed the floor. It's lightweight and comfortable with minimal boning - there is a concealed zip up the back so you don't have to do up the tiny buttons. It has a low empire/natural waist with a subtle nude satin belt and hand-beaded crystal broach. There is slight wear to the hem all around the bottom and the hook for pinning up the train has come off, but a replacement could be easily attached.
