The Dress
I absolutely loved wearing this dress for my August 2020 wedding. Since we had to pivot our celebrations due to COVID-19, I didn't get to wear this dress for the long wedding day we anticipated having. Therefore, it is in amazing condition, newly dry cleaned, and I would love for another bride to have her special day in it. I am regularly a size 8, 153lbs and got a size 10 to feel super comfortable (not too tight!) The silk fabric made me feel so beautiful and classy.
I fell in love with this dress immediately and the timeless look it gave me. Stunning, really. The Sienne is a romantic, silk crepe A-line style is perfectly balanced by hand-embroidered floral appliqué panels in the skirt. The modern, wide scoop neckline is softened by floral petals peeking out from the neck and backline to create a gown with both clean lines and feminine details.
This would be the perfect dress for someone size 8 or smaller and 5'9" or shorter (ideally you would want to alter the length a bit). The alterations I made were simple so the natural look of the dress was entirely preserved.
The dress has some mild stains on the hem line that would be easy to alter off - mostly on the train (which is long and all the material is not needed!). I included a photo of the mild discoloration.
Alterations
The shoulder straps were shortened (they come super long), the dress shortened (I'm 5'8" and I wore 2" heels) and the bust taken in a touch.
