The Dress
The Rita is Liz Martinez’s most unique dress.
Liz Martinez does not stock her dresses anywhere in Australia so the only way to buy one of her dresses is if you are lucky enough to time your engagement with one of her international trunk shows.
The dress was custom made to my measurements as listed above but would fit a size 6 or 8. I wore 10.5cm heels and the waist to floor length with those heels on was 113cm.
I changed into a second dress for the reception so the dress is in very good condition.
Liz made some slight tweaks to the original Rita design to better compliment my body shape. In the original Rita design the outer layer of the dress falls straight from the bust. Liz pulled this outer layer of the dress in through the waist so that it falls from the hips instead. The result is more figure hugging version of the Rita which is more flattering to a wider range of body shapes.
I opted not to have the dress lined and so it came with a range of under garment options which will be provided. Of course the beautiful neck scarf will be included as well.
