The Dress

This dress was made in Summer 2019 for my wedding at the end of September 2019. I absolutely adored wearing my dress; it was so comfortable and felt like butter on the skin- beautiful! It is a luxurious silky wedding dress which is classy yet sexy! The dress has been dry-cleaned by a bridal specialist within a month of the wedding and has been hung in it's zip tight dress cover ever since. The dress presents some natural darker marks at the bottom where it is slightly marked from the wear on the day- I have had this looked at by a second hand wedding dress specialist who assures me this can be easily fixed by trimming the bottom hem all the way around by a marginal amount (should not affect the look or wear of the dress). There are the tiniest little speckles of off-colouring (maybe 3 over the whole dress, in random areas), these are not stains and have to be really really closely picked out by a very concentrated eye-I never noticed these by the dry- cleaner explained that they were there. The dress cost £3600 and I am looking for half of that price, however, I would not refuse a sensible offer.
Please note that the measurements are approx. measurements as the dress no longer fits and it is hard to measure without a body in it! I was a standard size 12 (uk) in normal dress size and the dress is a size 14 (uk) on the label.

Alterations

All alterations completed by a professional bridal seamstress. Original bottom hem altered (taken up around full bottom circumference including train). Nude bra (36E) lightly stitched into straps (over shoulders) for extra breast support; the back of the bra was cut away to leave backless look. The bra could be unpicked to return dress to original product if desired. An additional loop ribbon was attached on the inside of the dress/ train to allow bride to have two options for making the dress more manageable; option one is to have a loop ribbon around bride's wrist to list train up as walking, option two is a ribbon tie knot system to tie ribbons and hook dress up for dancing- this work brilliantly and can be seen in photo 5 (back of dress outdoor shot).
