The Dress

Lace bodice with corset back. Lace detail cascades down over front of tulle skirts and into the train. A sequin belt at the waist provides a little sparkle, as well as adding a highly flattering silhouette to this gorgeous dress. The dress features capped, slightly off the shoulder sleeves and a padded internal corset - so no bra is required.

The dress is from a plus-size range, I was a size 16 (38B bra size) at the time of my wedding - the dress actually felt a little roomy around my chest - but I went bra-less, so depending on your bust size - you may prefer to wear a strapless bra/undergarment with the dress.

I am 5ft 2 - the dress has been altered to fit my height and shape. I wore flat ballet pumps - so the dress would be best suited to a petite bride.

The dress has recently been professionally cleaned - however the underskirts have some scuffing leftover from my day (don't choose a venue with gravel paths!) However, a second clean may well clear these and this is on the underside of the garment - so not noticeable.

The modesty board that attaches to the inside-back of the dress (where the corset ties) is also missing - however, with the corset fully secured, this isn't necessary to have - I removed mine on the day. The corset ties are also missing, as I had to be cut from the dress as they were fastened into a knot. These can be easily replaced. Otherwise, the dress is in excellent condition, considering it's been in storage for almost 3 years.
